How do I know what my hair type is?
The best way to know what your hair type is is to measure your hair’s density, porosity, texture and elasticity.
Density: refers to the population of strands on your head that could define your hair as thing, thick or medium. Test your hair’s density.
Porosity: refers to the hair’s ability or inability to absorb water / moisture or in the worse case chemicals deep into the cuticle layer and cortex. Test your hair’s elasticity.
Texture: refers to the feel of your hair and its ability to be soft, smooth and demonstrates one consistent feel.
Elasticity: The hair’s ability to stretch to its maximum state and bounce back to its normal state without breaking. Test your hair’s elasticity. (Highlighted link will lead to a video link)

Curly Hair: grows in tiny clumps, called peppercorn hair or a nap. This type of hair grows the slowest compare to those with straight / loose waved hair, at about 0.9cm a day because the hair grows in a
twisted oval shape.
How can I get long hair?
