iHEARTmyhair is a revolutionized educational service that develops the core belief of self, by assisting women and girls to love and appreciate the highest point of self, which is our crown ~ OUR HAIR.
iHEARTmyhair birthed officially in 2009, (but started in 2008) due to the popularity of Euro-centric concepts of beauty as well as the lack of representation for Natural Beauty still to this day. This movement is beyond hair it is the empowerment and up-liftment for young girls (3 – 18) and their mothers/ guardians who want to release damaging and unhealthy methods of hair care.
Anya states, “as a hair care specialist, it is my mission to provide a sincere service to empower, educate and implement healthy chemical-free hair care methods that enhance our clients’ self-esteem and well being. We are most definitely known by our brand community for being international, authentic and intellectual and promise to consistently deliver this value to our customers.”

How Do We Do This
1. One on one customized consultations & Holistic Natural Hair Styling
- Women are offered a chance to reclaim their self-worth, self-efficiency and self-love through restoring the health of their crown and glory – their HAIR. Women will gain knowledge in holistic hair care, esteem, self-proclaimed beauty reflected through the health and longevity of their hair.
2. Workshops & Presentations
- Hair plays such an important role in self-esteem, body language, identity and self love. Therefore, iHEARTmyhair presents a series of workshops, seminars and consultations as means to promote healthy hair habits for girls and women of all ages. These workshops have assisted women to learn to love and appreciate one of the most adorned part of the body – their HAIR. Its mission is to implement self-efficiency for women to love, appreciate and accept self by ‘loving the hair you’re in.’
